🦋Protect biodiversity, protect life.

International Day for Biological Diversity

Biodiversity is the foundation of life. Forests, mangroves, pollinators, wildlife, living soils… all these ecosystems provide essential services and contribute to our well-being. Protecting them means safeguarding our future.

At Graine de Vie Luxembourg, we believe that restoring ecosystems goes far beyond tree planting. It is about strengthening the resilience of nature, as well as the communities that depend on it.

Because when nature thrives, we all thrive. 🌿

🐝 A community united around bees.

In Mayo-Banyo, Cameroon, beekeeping brings an entire community together. 🐝
Around the hives, families share knowledge, develop honey production 🍯, and collectively create sustainable incomes while protecting local biodiversity.

Children grow up with these values and learn that caring for bees also means caring for their future. 🌱

On this World Bee Day, we celebrate all the communities working together to build a more sustainable and resilient future. 🌍

👨🏿‍👩🏿‍👧🏿‍👦🏿🌍 International Day of Families: when environmental commitment is passed down from generation to generation.

In Moinkoing, Cameroon, the Keyoum family embodies environmental commitment in everyday life. Armand takes part in the reforestation activities of the Mayo Banyo project, while his wife Flora, a teacher and member of the Femmes Solidaires ("Women in Solidarity") group, contributes to sustainable initiatives such as honey production. Their son Ramond is already raising awareness among other children about plastic waste recycling.

On the occasion of the International Day of Families, this inspiring story illustrates how the values of solidarity, environmental protection, and sustainable development are passed down from one generation to the next, helping to build more resilient communities.
